We’re back!

Due to the amazing effort we have all put in during this pandemic such as staying home when possible and social distancing, the numbers of cases of covid-19 have been reducing to the extent that restrictions on dentists are being eased even further. We will be moving to level 1 restrictions any day now, which means that we can see you for all of your dental treatment needs, including scale and cleans and fillings. We will continue to adhere to strict protocols to ensure we keep our patients and staff safe during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Covid-19

Due to Level 3 restrictions imposed by the Government and AHPPC, we will be ceasing routine dental treatment immediately. This is in the interest of protecting the health and safety of our patients, staff and general public.

We will still be able to see patients for dental emergencies including toothache and trauma and are able to see patients who require dental treatment to help prevent further medical problems or who have been referred by a medical practitioner.

Our receptionists will be available this week to answer your calls as usual and answer any questions. Alternatively, if you would prefer to contact us by other means, please send an email to info@everythingforteeth.com.au or text 0426 267 836.

I’d be happy to answer any questions by email or do a consultation by phone if you have any dental concerns. We all look forward to being able to see our wonderful patients again in the (hopefully near) future at our dental practice in West End. This is a difficult time for everyone and I’m praying everyone gets through this. Look after yourselves. – Kerry

A dog at the dentist?

All of the staff at Everything for Teeth are dog lovers and much to our delight, we were excited to find out that Queensland regulations allow for dogs to be in dental practices, in the reception area. Bentley, a King Charles Cavalier, may visit the office from time to time. Be sure to look behind the reception desk at your next visit to see if he’s there. Of course, at Everything for Teeth, infection control is of utmost importance, and we adhere to the highest standards of infection control in our surgeries.

Dogs are often said to calm patients that are anxious. If you’re feeling nervous at your next visit, feel free to spend some time with Bentley before heading in to see your friendly dentist. Neither of them bite!

Welcome back to Dr Kerry!

After a year of travelling the world from October 2014 to October 2015, Kerry returned back to the dental practice in December 2015 to resume her full time position as a dentist at Everything for Teeth. ¬†Kerry travelled to Europe, South America, USA, Asia and Africa and had a truly wonderful trip, experiencing different cultures, meeting people from all walks of life and seeing some of the amazing sights there are in this world. As amazing as the trip was, Kerry was excited to return home and eager to provide the gentle, quality dental care for her patients that she is known for. ¬†She is looking forward to working with her wonderful staff, seeing her regular patients and is always keen to talk about her trip and find out about her patients’ travels too.

Here’s a few photos from her trip:
